Blue Shed restaurant is a family owned business specialising in seafood. Situated in the seaside town of St Helens just minutes from the world famous Bay of Fires region on Tasmania’s east coast.

The owners of Blue Shed, Rod and Irena Faulkner recently embarked on a complete rebuild and refurbishment of the restaurant. Originally named “The Captains Catch”, they have transformed it into the iconic structure that it is today. Locals referred to it as the blue shed. The Blueshed is one of the only restaurants on the east coast licenced to collect scale fish, southern rock lobster and oysters from local fishermen and retail to the public.

Sample Captain’s Catch delicious takeaway fish and chips or book a table at the restaurant to experience modern Australian cuisine, peruse the extensive wine collection and indulge in some of Tasmania’s finest food.
